A Centralized Security Solution Accessible by Remote Locations
Career Education Corporation (CEC), based in Schaumburg, Illinois, offers high-quality education to more than 90,000 students throughout the United States, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, and the Principality of Monaco. When CEC relocated its headquarters to a new facility, the move offered an opportunity to modernize and standardize the organization’s security system.
This case study shows how CEC was able to save money while delivering a higher level of safety and security for students, faculty, and staff. By deploying 38 exacqVision IP camera servers and hybrid servers, CED was able to leverage their existing infrastructure. The system is centrally monitored, but since it’s so easy and intuitive to use, each campus has additional people who can access and monitor the system, all without the need for additional IT personnel or significant training.
