Northridge Cooperative Homes is a $55 million non-profit corporation located in San Francisco. After completing a community remodeling project, property managers were prepared to maintain grounds, but not for vandalism and illegal activities that began to occur on the property.

Northridge faced some difficult challenges, including the lack of a secure perimeter, low light areas, and the lack of clear sight lines. And since the complex was new, any surveillance solution would need to be aesthetically pleasing.

This case study examines the solution that was developed to meet Northridge’s challenges, including AXIS cameras for low light conditions, exacqVision Video Management Software for robust search and retrieval of videos, and Hautespot outdoor wireless devices allowing for tricky antenna alignments and restrictive mounting scenarios.
